PO Number Format

Every PO number is built from these parts, in order:

MM
2-digit month (auto)
CODE
Type code (e.g. ST, TRK) — managed below
##
2-digit unit number (only if type uses one)
###
3-digit sequence, resets each month

Examples: 05ST001 (Stock, May, 1st PO)  ·  05TRK07042 (Truck #7, May, 42nd PO of the month)

Edit Type

1-10 letters/digits. Appears in every PO number using this type.
Friendly name shown in dropdowns.
Lower numbers appear first in the dropdown.
